Dear Silver. Last week I saw Pat Perry (Winner 2003 in Den Haag) performing tricks with two Clipboards, looking like Ultra Perfect Clipboards (see picture on magicwarehouse.com). On the first clipboard, a spectator was asked to draw something. Without looking, Pat found out exactly, what the drawing looked like. The second clipboard was used for a telephone book-trick. Both effects blew the audience away. Maybe the Ultra Perfect Clipboard is the best.

Hi Magic Michael
Do you think that Pat Perry used the same clipboard for the two effects? How did they look like? Was it made out of acryllic glass oder wood? Any other information from anybody else? Thx in advance! |

Silver,
This topic has been discussed in several places here on the Café. But to answer your inquiry as to what is the best clipboard, I have to say that in my opinion, nothing compares with the Psychic Clipboard when it comes to a real time retrieval of written information. Also and most importantly, the clipboard remains in the hands of the spectator until whatever routine you are performing is over. In fact, the spectator can be in another room and you will still instantly know what has been written. No other clipboard gives you that kind of power. :) |

Hi Silver. Yes, he used 2 times the same clipboard. It was made out of glass. It looked like the Ultra Perfect Clipboard.

The conditions you work under may also effect what is the best for you, consider lighting, That being said, I am pretty sure I have every board ever sold, and for the working pro who needs to be 100% , I say Riggs, also I will go a step further and say his leather assistant board is what a pro would use and it will last an entire carrer and if it does not , he will fix it. Electronic boards are fun, but cosider reliability, on stage it would go over well, but as I said before "Conditions" I would not use it for close up.
