Do any of the above mentioned mags have trick secrets in them or are they more descriptions of tricks you need to buy?

They have some tricks in them, there are always a few gems here and there.

I prefer Genii, but overall I like to read linking ring (partly because it is huge and I get it with my membership to IBM)
