The CAJ deck does come with a yellow booklet with a bunch of ideas on how to use it. Fako decks are good... but I think they are better as jokes. They are just TOO unrealistic. Whereas you can use the CAJ decks in effects presented as "magic." In my opinion both has pros and cons, you just have to decide which is for you, if you PM me, I'll write out a list of which cards come in which decks.

Here is a semi-intersting thread for those with these cards: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......;forum=2 But I would have like a book from the Fako deck, so I may just purchase that as well. The deck from Penguin comes as Bicycle poker cards, but it seems that what you get from them is inconsistent. Best to specify what you want in the deck when you order from Penguin, and they always have been easy to deal with. Jesse Quote:

Check out routines for the cracked 5 and some of the double backers. You can access the compilatioin on the forum, so it is free when you purchase the deck. Mind you, there is some nonsense on the Penguin forum...but the compilation is a labor of love and quite useful for getting your creative juices flowing. I have a penguin magic assorted deck. I got these cards:
5 Double Blanks 6 Blank Backers 5 Red/Red Double Backers 5 Blue/Blue Double Backers 5 Blue Backed Blank Facers 5 Red Backed Blank Facers 5 Red/Blue Double Backers 4 Double Facers 3 Two suited Cards (KD and KH on one card), Red Backed Gags: 14 of Diamonds Shattered 5 of Hearts 6 of Hearts that when show from back, looks like 4 mini cards A red backed card, when show from front, looks like 4 mini card faces. A Fun Incorporated Advertisement Card 3 1/2 of clubs Tree of Diamonds 52 on one card All the cards, unless specifically noted, are red backed. They are on bike stock, and they have the air cushion finish, however, the finish seems to be either "flatter" or it is wearing off on some of the cards. Good deck though. EDIT: Upon further investigation, the cards that I was talkin about having a worn off finish, they look similar the the cards that I split before, and the finish messed up on those too. Some of these cards might be hand split, instead of printed that way?

I need to get a wild card with four cards blank backed with the same card on the face in order to do a routine in which they turn white on the face one by one. Is such wild card sold anywhere?

Penguin Magic has a great Assortment Deck called the Special Assortment Deck. This deck is very inexpensive about $9.00 (2006 US Dollar price) and is printed on Bicycle cards. It comes with 50 specially gimmicked cards of various types, including a 14 of diamonds, a 52-on-1 card, and many more!

Since a lot of discussion is here about the CAJ deck (a deck I know
intimately) I will send a sample - The Crazy Kings trick (just the cards - the trick is self evident) - so you can see some cards - I AM BETTER THAN THE FAKO DECK! I GOT REAL MAGIC IN MINE! send a stamped self addressed, stamped (With 63c in postage - not just 39C - its an ounce) envelope to Caj Magic 3763 E Colorado Blvd #100 Pasadena, CA 91107 I can't keep this offer good forever - but I will until I run out of KINGS Cards and don't be greedy - 1 per person (and don't send one for your wife/girlfreind/dog/cat/mother/friends mother.... be fair)

I really like some of the cards in the CAJ deck, such as the 0s and the 1/2 of Spades. The book also matches up with the cards. That's the problem with the Fako Deck. The book doesn't match the cards it comes with. There are a few cards that don't have effects in the book and vice versa.
