Regarding this effect (made famous by Dan Sylvester), I've only seen it offered for sale at one site, and that was simply the plans to make it. The site says it can be made for about 15 bucks. What I'd like to know is, does it have to be the opening effect? Do you need to go into cover to 'reattatch' your head?

Is this the same effect that was used on the TV special "T.H.E.M." or is Dan's version different? (As far as methodology)

I think the basic method is the same....though I really can't say since I've never owned this illusion myself. Dan's is different in that it has lots more SFX, and his head ends up on the floor...not in his hands.
Everybody wants to beleive.....we just help them along.
