Since I got back into magic a few years ago, I’ve worked on all kinds of magic. But I really love coins. I generally use 1964 half dollars for my work. Two reasons for this. The first is a practical reason. The silver coins seem to palm easier -- less apt to "squirt" out of my hand than the newer style coins. Second, from an artistic point of view, they add a bit of ambience to the magic. Solid silver appearing from the air, penetrating solid wood, vanishing into nothing.
My question, what types of coins do you all like to use? Scott O.

Check out the "Morgans or Kennedys" thread for some answers to a very similar question.
