Cut it in half... |

I can knot. I'm sorry, I can two.
By the way, why do they call a folded rope doubled, when it's half as long? Oh, crap, now I'M the heckler. |

Now restore it.

Would you believe I have about 25 minutes of rope work, and that's the LAST item I added to my repertoire?
It's restored. But I notice that I've now got the left half on the right and vice versa. Any advice? (Other than, Dean, you're not as funny as you think you are!) |

Of course you wouldn't...it's David's intellectualy property
Your choices in life can be compared to watching a magic trick: You can continue to believe the illusion in front of you, find the intrigue and desire to learn more, or quit paying attention the moment you feel deceived.

I've seen this one before...the rope turns into a tiger.

No, I mean, I added the cut and restored rope - not David's mental rope trick!
But I think you knew that, judging by the smile! Don't you just hate it when you go to explain yourself, and then you make things more complicated? |

Are you thinking of "medium sized?"

You are absolutely correct!!! Geez, I hope you put the secret to this one in your next book. Course, then I'll have to learn to read.
Kudos! Shared this with my wife and she was amused also. |

I NEVER explain. If they don't get it, then that's THEIR problem! (Yes, that's a joke)

The real trouble is, if they don't get it, and you drop it from your act, was it just them? I have dropped tricks for years because of one audience, only to test them again and find that everyone else loves them! I guess I should grow a backbone.

Pete, for more enjoyment, read the thread again, skipping the Impossible Man posts.
