The thief swallowed his heist to either fasciltate the robbery or to evade being apprehanded by the cops. That must have given him some gastrointestinal discomfort. He went to the doctor who x-rayed him and saw the stash inside. He was caught, the stuff passed through him and was used as evidence.

So he did nothing apart from x-ray him, advise him on what to do, phone the police...
He was a wee bit daft going to the doctor in the first place. "Hmm, I've got a sore stomach, I wonder what it could be? Could it possibly be the large amount of diamonds and gold I swallowed? Nah, I'll go to the doctor" I thought it was going to be that he was diagnosed with trapped wind and he was unhappy because he was in a lift with his boss and a good looking blonde when it became untrapped. |
